The Story Behind What We Do

The three of us started as corporate colleagues—recruiters who grew into executives, peers who became coaches to one another long before we ever had a business card that said so.

Chris built a nearly thirty-year career leading teams from the ground up, earning recognition not just for results but for the kind of grounded, human-centered culture he built around him.

Stuart went from recruiter to president, leading two large-scale companies, and bringing the discipline and sense of purpose forged during his years as a U.S. Navy veteran into every room he walked into.

Toby has spent his career going deep—coaching executives for nearly fifteen years across ten countries, helping leaders drill into the mindset, behaviors, and skills that actually move the needle, not just on paper but in their lives and in the lives they lead. 

We know what it feels like to be high-performing and quietly stuck. To be successful by every external measure and still sense that something essential is missing. That shared experience is what brought us together, and it is the foundation of everything TRUEPATH is. 

  • Chris Weiss, President

    Chris Weiss spent nearly three decades in operational and executive leadership — rising from Technical Recruiter to VP of Strategic Operations — and in that time worked alongside hundreds of leaders across every level of a growing organization.

    What that experience gave him was a deep understanding of what it actually takes to build high-performing teams: not just capability, but alignment — a shared language, a clear framework, and leadership that connects direction at the top to behavior on the ground.

    Today, as co-founder of TRUEPATH Consulting, Chris works with CEOs and executive teams to build the Leadership Operating Systems that make that connection real.

    Chris lives outside Pittsburgh, PA with his wife Joy and their three boys — Aiden, Parker, and Tanner.

  • Stuart Ferguson, COO

    Stuart Ferguson has seen the full arc of organizational life — from his first recruiting desk to the president's chair. Across two large-scale companies and every leadership layer in between, he didn't just climb the ladder; he learned exactly how organizations function, where they break down, and what it takes to build them to perform at every level.

    That experience — operational, cultural, and deeply human — is what Stuart brings to TRUEPATH Consulting. As co-founder, he works with leadership teams to build the systems, structures, and shared language that allow organizations to operate the way their leaders intend. His focus is on closing the gap between a company's potential and its day-to-day reality: aligning culture, developing leaders at every level, and creating the conditions where people and performance grow together.

    Stuart is a US Navy veteran. He lives outside Philadelphia with his wife Shelly, and is the proud father of daughters Steph and Sophie.

    Toby’s extensive career as an executive coach and Director of Business Operations endows him with a unique and intrapersonal perspective that helps businesses, and their executives, drill deep into the skills, mindset, and behaviors that propel success. Toby has been an executive coach to leaders in ten different countries, and is deeply committed to helping others walk on their journey with meaning and purpose.
